Theoretical background: Quality management and medical service improvement in district hospitals enables to achieve a number of internal external benefits. It is long-term process conscious transformation the existing state into desired accepted one by concerned stakeholders. The diagnosis organizations’ performance an important aspect context building hospital future which focused on quality, development improvement. Purpose article: article reveals positions managers (directors) current level quality maturity facilities they manage. Research methods: A diagnostic survey was conducted using paper questionnaire. form handed person filled presence author. This provided inducement for analysis conclusions. study performed 2022. Main findings: implementation system (QMS) principles surveyed organizations, despite variability, uncertainty, complexity ambiguity environment, evaluated at 3.39. means that practice QMS widely established, but not most areas. Therefore, scope cannot be considered as complete. result different assessed excellence selected accreditation standards. their 3.69. Thus, respondents close 70%. They identify typical (only some exceptions are deviations from it). also have evidence continuous after least year. Another research relation innovation. entities determined this parameter 3.50, corresponds approximately 66%. highest achieved operational skills conditions disruption. adaptation abilities taken actions towards sustainable 3.82 (72%). These results prove Wielkopolska voivodeship take steps toward excellence, 2022 full (as it does apply 100% occurrences, implemented entire hospitals, without exceptions).
